Armor Photography Studio: House Visits Welcome

Armor Photography Studio: House Visits Welcome, takes its name from a photo company started by the artist’s father, Armor Photography. We are excited to celebrate the exhibition opening where the artist will celebrate his father's portrait tradition by photographing groups and individuals.

The artist will transform the gallery into his personal functioning photo studio. Over the course of the exhibition, the artist will invite gallery visitors into the studio space to have their photograph taken, and he will take appointments to make house visits as well. All are welcome to participate!

Portraits from Mohammed's on-going series, From Here On Out, will be on view. In this series, the artist documents the lives of black and brown people from all over the country over the last few years. Harlem has a long portrait tradition and legacy of black excellence which makes this the perfect location for the exhibition.
